Album: Pictures from the MS Gulf Coast
These pictures were taken in areas that are not closed off. The city is alive here but barely (many stores still closed).

Album: Photos of Long Beach, MS
These photos were taken south of the railroad tracks (hardest hit area). This area is blocked off by razor wire, and you have to enter with a pass through a police checkpoint (my friend had a pass we could use). No one is living back here now as the whole area is unsafe. This level of destruction stretches for more than 50 miles.

Album: Inside a flood-damaged home
My friend Jeff and I tour a damaged home. This house is structurally sound and will be rebuilt. The owners are an older couple. They had no flood insurance. The last thing its owner said to me was "When you come back, it will all be rebuilt."
